Post Graduate Diploma in Health Insurance -(PGDHI)
INTRODUCTION:
Insurance Institute of India (III) in association with the Mumbai School of Economics and Public Policy (Autonomous), University of Mumbai has been conducting a one-year Post Graduate Diploma in Health Insurance (PGDHI) since 2013-14. PGDHI is an intensive one year (2 term) part time Postgraduate program that prepares students for a specialized career in Health Insurance.
The course is aimed at providing students the necessary inputs as there is a growing demand for Health Insurance Professionals in Health Insurance companies, General Insurance companies, TPAs (Third Party Administrator), Network Hospitals. This course is designed to provide academic rigour and recognition of the University system along with the domain knowledge and expertise of the insurance industry.
ELIGIBILITY
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
Students appeared/appearing their final examinations in 2023 and waiting for results can also apply subject to passing.
Freshers can join the course for making a career in the Health Insurance sector.
Working professionals in the health insurance sector (including medical doctors)
(Can join this course to upgrade their professional qualifications, knowledge and for career advancement.)
CLASS ROOM DELIVERY AND RESEARCH PROJECT
The program is a blend of Class Room sessions and a Research Project.
Classes shall be held in III campus at Bandra- Kurla Complex, Mumbai.
PGDHI DIPLOMA
The Diploma would be awarded jointly by the Insurance Institute of India and Mumbai School of Economics and Public Policy (Autonomous), University of Mumbai.
REGISTRATION FEES
The Applicant for the Post Graduate Diploma in Health Insurance (PGDHI) Course need to pay Registration Fees of ₹ 1,000/-.
Upon selection the above said amount will be adjusted amongst the course fees.
In case the applicant is not selected for the course the above said amount will be refunded.
